Find the power switch in the blue bag. Find the short, 10 cm, 2 strand socket-socket (F-F) cable bundle.
Cut the end of the cable off approximately 10 mm away to the socket (F) termination for both wires.
Strip the end of the cable to expose 3-5 mm of the inner copper wires.
Twist and tin the wires. Bend the tinned wires with the needlenose pliers to a 90 degree angle. This will help ensure a strong and secure connection.
Thread the wires through the slot on the switch’s lugs. Fold the excess down. Solder the wires to the switch at a 45 degree angle.
Note: The switch may melt a bit from the heat. Allow time for cooldown when soldering.
Find the battery pack. Find the battery bracket (the ‘hiya!’ piece).
Thread battery pack wires through the opening on the battery bracket.
Hot glue battery pack to the inside of the battery bracket. Bracket tabs should be facing up with the battery pack in between, flush with the bracket's surface.
